Disclosure: Positive Outlooks Inc. provides certain services through agreements with the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) for individuals approved under Medicaid programs, including the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver and other DSS‑authorized service options. These services are separate from our private home‑care offerings and can only be provided to individuals who have been pre‑approved by DSS.

Positive Outlooks Inc. cannot assist with the DSS waiver approval process.

The information below is intended for individuals currently enrolled in DSS waiver or Medicaid programs, their families, and DSS‑affiliated care managers or options counselors.

Services under the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver include:

Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Services - Personal Care Assistants, Companions & Independent Living Skills Trainers.

Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE) Services - Personal Care Assistants, Companions, and Respite Care.

All services are delivered in accordance with DSS program rules, Medicaid requirements, and Positive Outlooks Inc.’s commitment to person‑centered, nonmedical support.
